Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat Program-“HarGharTiranga” Campaign”

As per direction of Office Director Education Department (Colleges) Punjab, S.A.S. Nagar, on 13th August 2022 “HarGharTiranga” campaign under the “Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat program” was organized at Chandigarh College of Education, landran. The event was aimed at strengthening the ‘HarGharTiranga’ campaign envisioned by honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi as part of Azadi Amrit Mahotsav to mark the 75 years of Independence of country. The idea behind the initiative was to inculcate the feeling of patriotism in the hearts of the citizens and promote awareness about our national flag. To mark this momentous occasion, we as an Indian were encouraged to hoist the flag in our homes from 13th to 15th August 2022.Selfie with tricolor, conference on national flag and oath taken ceremony were conducted to make this event a successful act. The students had posted their selfie with tricolor and collage of it was prepared. Selfie with tricolor activity was organized by NSS volunteers in collaboration of Red ribbon club members of the college . .This activity was done on 13th August 2022; however, the faculty of the college was actively involved alongside the students and provided all help, support, and cooperation for the smooth and successful conduct of the event. With HarGharTiranga, the students have tried to understand how India attained freedom and its importance. They were filled with patriotism. This campaign has made them more curious about the freedom struggle and freedom fighters.
