Chandigarh College Of Education Organized 7 Days NSS Camp

Chandigarh College of Education, Landran (Mohali ) is organized a 7 days NSS camp from 20th to 26th April, 2022 in the College campus. A host of activities have been planned for these seven days that include Inaugural of NSS Camp by S. Satnam Singh Sandhu, Chairman, CGC and S. Rashpal Singh, President, CGC accompanied by Dr.P.N. Hrishikesha, Campus Dir. , CGC and Dr. Dr.Sneh Bansal, Principal, CCE. The second day of the NSS Camp was owed to the ‘Zumba Class’ by the expert followed by Extension Lecture on Building resilience with Mindfulness in order to enhance and ensure mental peace. Various competition like Rangoli , Slogan ,Poster Making were held under the theme social, cultural, scientific and technological changes. The third day would be commenced with a Rally to Landran village on the theme- Channelizing Youth in Nation building, Nukkar Natak by the NSS Volunteers along with free medical camp in collaboration with Grecian Hospital, Mohali. On the fourth Day students will visit home for Gods children for community engagement. Fifth Day of the event, Educational Trip to Patiala (Punjab Heritage Monument- Qila Mubara,Sheesh Mahal and Gurudwkara Dukhniwaran Sahib). On sixth day Session on Empowering youth to become entrepreneurs was delivered by R and D centre followed by Session on Protecting Youth from Tobacco and Alcohol Abuse by SIPER Strategic Institute for Public Health Education and Research. The NSS camp was concluded on its seventh day with the various events on Indian tradition and culture were organized like Ragoli comp, best out of waste, Exploring Indian Culture through Food and Poster making exhibition and with Valedictory Function to be addressed by Dr. Sapna Nanda, Principal , Government College Yoga Education & Health, Chandigarh this NSS camp aims at inculcating the values of the dignity of labour, loving humanity, keeping one’s environment clean and helping others
