Chandigarh College of Education Landran, feels immense pleasure in informing you that we have opened a’Training and Placement Cell’ in our Campus for providing job opportunities to our B.Ed passouts. As the competition for employment is increasing every day & the job market is getting increasingly complex and challenging. Placement cell of an institution plays a vital role in providing the job opportunities as well as training students to present themselves in a better manner.
The Objective of the Placement. Cell is to look for 100% employment of all the students. The Placement Cell of the college plans to organize various activities in the college, the most popular one being the ‘Campus Recruitment’ to provide our students with job opportunities.
Our Placement Cell is mainly responsible for establishing effective contacts with various organizations with a view to assisting the students in securing jobs & arranging interviews for the students. The Cell will also facilitate the selection process of students with potential employers , We cater to the needs of the students as well as the School Authorities and aim to act as a bridge between the employer and the employee
Objectives of Training and Placement Cell:
1. Training:-
To provide guidance to students in Career planning resume, preparation & interview skills, This will help students find employment suited to their abilitiers & skills.
2. Motivating the students by providing the necessary help & suidance for other Personality Development.
3 Training and Placement Cell organizes sessions of aptitude tests, group discussion & guidance programme on how to face interviews for the students.
3. Employment: We provide ‘Placement Before Degree’
4. To liaison with education sector to cater to the needs of Educational Organization in conducting campus interviews for placements.
5. Our Students acquire sufficient insight in to the subjects studied as well as sufficient pedagogical insight & acquire the practical knowledge which is necessary to function in education & transmission of knowledge.
Placement Drive:
The college plans to organize placement drives where in prospective employers i.e. the schools will be invited to observe demonstrations by students and conduct on the spot interviews. The students will give live demonstration of their concerned subject & the School representative/Subject expert will evaluate them according to the requirement of the School.
